We proudly announce that we held the first occasion of the “Brunch Seasoned with Gnosis” series in Budapest on 30 April 2025. Gnosis Institute is dedicated to support professional and honest exchange of views and experience on matters that are of utmost importance for Central and South-East Europe and through which it can contribute to the development and welfare of our region while also considering differences among the countries in concern. We don’t aim to find one-size-fits-all solutions but instead to share ideas for considerations and highlight strengths and weaknesses of measures already in place.

We believe in that gaining knowledge works the best when it goes hand in hand with pleasure and joy, therefore we decided to create a framework that allows the participants to share their ideas, opinions and experience while enjoying a pleasure atmosphere together. We honestly hope that such a causal environment will inspire our guests and facilitate an open and professional dialogue.

This time the “Changing geopolitical context and the future of the energy sector: the Trans-Adriatic and the Ionian-Adriatic Pipelines” was on the “menu”. The discussion started with the opening thoughts of Mr. András Jenei, Deputy Director of the Centre for Fair Political Analysis and the experts covering energy policy, international relations, South-East Europe and the policies of the United States of America as well as colleagues of embassies were discussing about the prospects of these pipelines and energy sector in Central and South-East Europe by considering political and economic realities.

This first occasion of the “Brunch seasoned with Gnosis” also served as a warm-up event for our third Energy Forum that will be held on 27 May 2025. The “Energy Forum 2025: Shaping a Secure and Sustainable Energetic Future in Central and South-East Europe” that will be organised in cooperation with the Climate Policy Institute in Budapest will bring together representatives of governments, state and international agencies and energy companies as well as members of expert community and academia from all over the region to analyse the challenges and opportunities the region is facing to ensure a secure and affordable supply while also meeting requirements of green transition.
